This is the precision shear amongst the Sword® series. It is characterized by a severely offset (crane) handle. The focus while designing the “Sword” series was to consider ergonomics by redefining the three-dimensional handle. A built in ball bearing made from carbon resin provides the smoothest feeling in a scissor that has ever been achieved. The D-17 is the classic of the Sword series, and a premium workhorse shear.
